We wish all of our fans a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We once had the idea of adapting Guy N. Smith’s book “Night Of The Crabs” into a rock opera, but never got round to it. However, we’ve just discovered someone else has done it! Thanks to E. O. Higgins (no relation) for finding this. Listen online here.
Rowland’s new band The 501s have a gig this Friday 28th at Ambleside Social Club, Ableside Drive, Southend, SS1 2UP. Doors are at 7:30, £5 entry. Click here for a map.
They also have more gigs coming up soon, check their Facebook page for info.
We’ve managed to get back in touch with Rowland, and he’s playing in a new band!
They’re called The 501s, and are a rockabilly trio. Check them out on their Facebook page.
We have some exciting news coming soon, keep a look out…
Merry Christmas to everyone from the Black Fedora team!
On Saturday 23rd August, Adam’s sister Laura got married at Colchester Arts Centre. At the ceremony, Adam performed a piece of music he had written especially.
Also, at the reception, there was an open mic session, featuring a reunion of half of Black Fedora! Lloyd on vocals and Adam and Mike on guitar performed Breaking the Law and Pictures Of Matchstick Men.
Thanks to Nick Aldwinckle for the photos!
Jim has started a YouTube channel, the first video is here:
