RIP Mick Bonson
We regret to announce that Lloyd’s dad Mick Bonson has died this week. Mick was always a great help to the band, driving us to rehearsals and also filming our first gig. He will be missed by everyone.
Well done Lloyd!
On 7 September, the Brentwood Theatre held its annual awards ceremony, The Brents. Our very own Lloyd won Best Supporting Actor In A Musical for his performance in The Mikado by Shenfield Operatic Society. Well done Lloyd!

Black Fedora reunite! Sort of…
On Saturday 23rd August, Adam’s sister Laura got married at Colchester Arts Centre. At the ceremony, Adam performed a piece of music he had written especially.
Also, at the reception, there was an open mic session, featuring a reunion of half of Black Fedora! Lloyd on vocals and Adam and Mike on guitar performed Breaking the Law and Pictures Of Matchstick Men.

Following from the publication of “One-hit Wonders”, Lloyd has published a new book on Formula One called “The Nearly Men”, detailing drivers who have finished on an F1 podium, but never won a race. It is available from Amazon in paperback and Kindle format. We will have full details in the Discography section soon.
